The collection is made within the ceramic-making tradition of Ruzhou, Henan, China, with an emphasis on classic forms and celadon glazes. Forming, finishing, glazing, and firing methods may differ by piece. Techniques such as spur-supported firing are described only when they have actually been used on the specific work.

When moving a vessel, support its body and base rather than lifting it by a narrow neck or decorative detail. Water-holding suitability varies by product and should be checked before use.
